Task Library

The Task Library is used to set up User Tasks which display under the Other Actions menu option within an open record. User Tasks are configured when there is the need to route additional tasks other than the tasks defined on phase entry or on task submissions. For example, you may need to assign an Ad hoc task to another user. The Task Library also contains System Tasks which are tasks that do not require user interaction or user sign-off and are typically used to collect a series of actions that need to be taken one or multiple times during the regular execution of the workflow. For example auto creating a CAPA record off of a Nonconformance if a parameter is met to create the CAPA. The Task Library is not part of the actual workflow steps and contains these two types of tasks.
